Tom Yum Soup

emoticon...... My favourite Tom Yum Soup of Hawnan ......emoticon

Ingredient (for 6 people):

  • Chili (5 to 20 pieces)
  • Garlic (about 10 pieces)
  • Galangal (a kind of Ginger) (about 2)

  • Kaffir Lime Leaves (some)

  • Lemon Grass (some)
  • Chicken (about half)
  • Onion (about 4)
  • Tomato (about 6)
  • Lime (10 to 15) ---> make juice
  • Salt (little)
  • Fish Sauce (little)
  • Thai Special Chili Paste (optional)
  • Milk (some)

Steps:

  1. Cut/ Slice all the herbs, vegeables and meat into small pieces.

  2. Boil a pot of hot water; put Garlic, Ginger, Lemon Grass, Chili and Onion into the boiling water.
  3. After about 10 minutes, put Chicken into the boiling soup.
  4. When the chicken is almost cooked, add Salt, Fish Sauce and then the Thai Special Chili Paste.
  5. When the Onion sink, put the Kaffir Lime Leaves.
  6. Let the soup boils for another 5-10 minutes; then put the Tomatos, Lime Juice and Milk emoticon
